Maryott's has posted pictures of two of their 2011 introductions that I have seen so far on their website's homepage. The first one I saw last week (and there may have been some before that one even) was called ARCTIC SUNRISE and was really gorgeous, and now they have a picture of a bright yellow with a gorgeous ruffled ruby red border, a child of FASHION POLICE.

It's so weird that his links never create a clickable link. I can't figure it out.

I was looking at the collections on the Maryotts website just the other day. I really love that Route 66 collection which is all the daylilies in the five other City Theamed Collections. Priced at $300.00 for 30 daylilies this is an unbelievable bargain. $10.00 each for the daylilies listed, wow. These are hardly $10.00 daylilies. Makes me really truely sorry to be out of room.

Ha, you are both cracking me up Smiling Honestly, I have NO room. Any new daylily planted here will only be able to have a home if I dig and toss something already here. I would dig a new daylily bed or expand one if I could but that is impossible because there is no place to do either. But I do love that collection and Bill sends such nice nice fans.

Doesn't he? And lots of bonus plants too! I will be getting my order from him by mid-July and can hardly wait. And this time I've included in my order several Linda Agin daylilies that I was looking for and he suddenly made available, and I was very lucky because I sent in my order right after he posted this year's catalog and he sold out all of them very shortly thereafter. So I got them all -- yea!!!

Also, I'm planning to go up to Maryott's for the Aug. 20th Region 7 get-together at his nursery. He told me they should have lots in bloom then (can you imagine?) and I'm hoping that both Sue and Lyle will also be there. So that should be fun and a great chance to actually meet these people in person and see a wonderful daylily garden. I looked at Bill's seedling pictures he posts on his website, and there are some totally amazing blooms there -- and hopefully he'll let us see some of those! Can't wait!
