I was in Miami for ten days. When I went back home I found my Miltonia flavescens was blooming.

Kathy, I don't recognize your flower and don't think it came from me. I will do a little looking and see if I can narrow the possibilities for you.

Jim, lots of beauties in bloom!! Lovey dubby I would really have a hard time picking a favorite! The "Elephant" is always gorgeous.

And I second that - this forum had a really great month with everyone adding beautiful blooms and interesting tidbits. It made the November thread a true joy.

Ceci, I like the Miltonia flavescens a lot!

Jim & Melanie - are there any Orchid happenings in your area this coming week? My Orchid friend fm MD is going to be over in that area.

Love everyone's flowers. Some day, I'll get someone to bloom!!!!
Blessed are the Quilters for they are the Piecemakers.

I checked my club's calendar and they don't have any orchid-related events coming up.

Nothing special going on that I know of. There are a couple of good growers in the area: Phelps Farms and Louis DelFavero..
