I was in Miami for ten days. When I went back home I found my Miltonia flavescens was blooming.

Kathy, I don't recognize your flower and don't think it came from me. I will do a little looking and see if I can narrow the possibilities for you.

Jim, lots of beauties in bloom!! I would really have a hard time picking a favorite! The "Elephant" is always gorgeous.

And I second that - this forum had a really great month with everyone adding beautiful blooms and interesting tidbits. It made the November thread a true joy.

I checked my club's calendar and they don't have any orchid-related events coming up.

Nothing special going on that I know of. There are a couple of good growers in the area: Phelps Farms and Louis DelFavero..
