Where have you seen the best veggie garden?

I think my own is the best, when it's just been watered with my perspiration.

My house......or my neighbor's house because they share with us!!

Not mine, it's a mess, but will we get to vote?

I see the best veggie garden every winter in my minds eye and every spring I end up with the best veggie garden that my body can produce. (not exactly what my minds eye was visualizing)

I change my vote to match Patti's. My favorite garden is the one I see in my mind's eye after a weekend spent sweating happily.

I rarely go with the flow, but in this case I must agree with Patti, Rick, and Lynn.

What features are most important to you in a vegetable garden?

I want to see soil that is very organic, well-drained.
Some gadget-ey irrigation scheme.
Walls, by which I mean a raised bed.
A bed no more than 3.5 or 4 feet wide, so no one ever has to walk around it.
Good drainage.
Lots of sun.
Few weeds.

Oh, yes ... and vegetables. Ones that I personally like.

I was posting an arbritrary question... It was actually AIMED
at a certain someone that I have been looking for, for a long
long time... I didn't think I would get this kind of response!!!
For all of you that want some tips I'd be glad to share some of
my idea's that have worked for me...
1st. This is the time of year to "mend" your bed's, plot's..
Get a soil test performed either yourself or your county
volunteers can guide you in the right direction..
2nd. If you grew corn or tomatoes in one area rotate them
to a different spot.. Also, load these area's now with lots
of nitrogen...
By for now.. Oh, by the way I was searching for (StephGem)..

I grow lots of veggies each year myself but always love to see everyone elses veggie gardens.

Haven't seen her posting in about 2 years.

I see she did access ATP in mid Feb of this year.

No, that thread was last updated with a post in Feb. of this year but not by her. It shows up in her list of posts as it's a thread she had posted to in the past, Mar 27, 2010 to be exact.

Steph was active in Cubits for a little while, but I don't think she ever came over to ATP. We moved some of her images over here to the database, and that's what preserved her membership status.

If you get in touch with her, Cyberd, please send her our regards and urge her to come back. We miss her.
