I always LOVE doing the end-of-season sales... amazing how many plants I can pick up at half price, or less!! Especially the pint-sized plants.. picked up TONS of agastaches for $1 / ea!! Or trees for $25... gotta love it!!

The half price table at the plant store is my favorite part any time of the year. My sister in law thought I was insane buying a pot with nothing buy a label sticking out.... :)

Euphorbia Ruby Glow and Berberis X stenophylla 'Nana'

This one stays really small, thought it might make a great miniature tree with some careful pruning.

I love the color on this Euphorbia.

I've never heard of Rosemary Barberry before. Love those bright yellow blooms and the fact that it stays rather small. Thumbs up

Berberis is a great plant! It normally has three spikes on it, well lots of them like a calthrop. We use it as hedging as it certainly deters uninvited persons The spikes are quite nasty, and can lead to a lot of pain, if left in the skin. Ideal for that unwanted person.
Lovely plants.
Regards.
Neil.

The blooms are so worth the thorns. But to be honest, I didn't even notice the thorns. I'll have to go look when the sun comes up. The birds have already eaten the berries off of mine. And how odd that it is blooming now?
I just found this site, do you know this nursery Neil? Just look at all the different ones. http://www.burncoose.co.uk/site/plants.cfm?pn_id=82
