I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!
Is there any notification of acceptance or rejection? Does it stay in the preview area.... indefinitely? *Blush*
I'm full of questions lately... sorry!

I usually forget about my submissions. Then suddenly I get a bunch of acorns tossed my way and my name up in lights. It's a good feeling! Thumbs up

You get a notification of acorn(s) when it gets published. Until then, you won't know anything. But 1 day it just shows up on the front page.

You can go to the ideas area and click on your submissions, when the person in charge decides to schedule your idea, it will have a line below it listing the date it is scheduled for.
That is what i found out by accident, but you have to check often. Smiling

In case you haven't seen Dave's new post, the system now alerts you when a date has been set for your idea to be published. Thumbs up

And I just got one of those system messages this morning. Hurray! But mine says that Dave has approved the idea & the date it will be published is indeterminate.

From our side, it is a multiple step process.
First the idea is approved.
At a later date, it receives a publish date- at which point you will be notified again.
Also seperately, your item is edited.

The timing on all of those step depends entirely on what other things I'm doing Green Grin!
Minutes, days, weeks, months.....any of those is possible! Although, my plan is to really get a handle on all of the ideas this winter!
