It's growing up a tree, so I guess it is. I just never thought of it as a vine. It's in a large pot and has much better variegation now.

Thanks Sandi. Since Philodendron bipinnatifidum is a self heading Philo I need to do some more research. Definitely a beauty.

Do you think it could be mislabeled? 'Possibly a monstera? I've been looking at leaves all morning and I'm not sure. I found a you tube video showing the difference in monstera and bipinnatifidum. Mine doesn't have the leaf cuts all the way to the stem like the bipinnatifidum. They are not "ruffley." The leaves more closely resemble the monstera.

Won't self-heading Philos eventually try to climb?

That's what I'm thinking Sandi but not sure yet. It's possible we have a few DB entries for the same plant which I believe is most correctly called White Variegated Monstera (Monstera deliciosa 'Albovariegata'). The easiest keys to P. bipinnatifidum, at least for me, are the petiole scars are light in color and intravaginal squamules (thin, papery, thorn-like structures) are present.

Yes they can be climbing but limited.

It looks like my plant is in two different files! Can you please move the pics to where they correctly belong?
