we do not usually get snow ,the Pyrenees 4 hours away usually gets our share....

Wow, that really is pretty amazing Chelle. I bet it would winter over on my covered deck in zone 8. I have to give it a try.

I think it will regenerate in the spring if it is protected from hard freezes until then. Come to think of it, I think I have had mine for two winters now. The first winter I brought it in. Then last year I left it out under the eave where I watered it once or twice. We had freezes and it was pretty ratty looking this spring but new growth formed as it warmed up.

Lynn, it should do fine on the covered deck. But if we get one of those rare sub 20 degree forecasts it might be a good idea to bring it in (unless you are willing to experiment).

Just thought I would let you know the cuttings have made a good root structure and look very healthy ,mind you we have had only a couple of frosty mornings and they are in the poly tunnel...

I cannot wait to bring them out in spring....

Mick, I can't wait to see them. Can you take a photo of the poly tunnel? Anything to help us through our winter.
