The wind has picked up here. It wouldn't be as cold if it wern't for the wind.

Rarely happy to have the weather folk be wrong in their forecasts, but sure am today. Temps stayed warm enough that the precipitation is rain and not sleet. We sure need the rain, too.

Mike you better get to it and get those plants out!

56 here and sunny. Lots of happy plants and one happy gardener after the 2.85 inches of rain.

Well, the weatherman missed this one. We have a heavy dusting of snow this afternoon. It is maybe a 1/2 inch. It was so pretty falling down, big fluffy flakes. The next 2 days should be in the high 30s.

I am ready for Spring!

I think winter has finally arrived here or is about to starting Wednesday night. Fall just kind of skipped over us.

Hmmmm .... I just saw the weather report for my area in the local newspaper. Quoted from the Vero News:

"Wednesday forecast: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 11 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., then a slight chance of showers after 3 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Windy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday night forecast: A 10 percent chance of showers before 7 p.pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. Windy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Thanksgiving Day Forecast: Much colder temperatures are expected with low temperatures dropping into the 40s in many locations by daybreak Thanksgiving morning. The rest of the day will be mostly sunny, with a high near 69. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph."

I may have to cover plants if it gets too cold. Wasn't expecting the cold to hit here until after January 1st. Going to be a Winter to watch the weather reports....

Yes, they have that nasty weather front that hit Texas coming east. Hitting Florida and then coming up the east coast. Rain expected here this afternoon and on till all day Wednesday.

Yup. We've been nasty all day & it promises to be an even nastier night. I see the radar & it looks like the entire east is getting nastiness.

Yup. Spreading from Florida all the way up here to Long Island and even further north. They said 2 and a half inches expected.

It was overcast just about all day, makes it feel really cold, only got up to about 33 and only 23 now, think it is going to be a very cold night. .

My what a beautiful day it is here today, very sunny. I am sure it is cold out, haven't been out yet but by the looks of the birds on the feeder, it must be cold. Hope tomorrow is as pretty.

Nasty day here but at least it is warm enough that we had rain all night and all morning instead of snow. Supposed to start to clear by late afternoon I think.
