I was looking at http://paynesinthegrassdaylily...
Does anyone have experience with LONE STAR LONGHORN?
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

Very nice lilies, seem reasonably priced. I hesitate to buy lilies raised any further south of zone 7 because I live in zone 6b. I try to get them from around my zone or 1 zone up or down. It just makes me feel better about them surviving in my climate.

Never bought from them but, I have always admired PSM. I see most of their intro's are evergreen.

They have a second page of seedlings that look not too bad. Alas evergreens are my lot.
Mike: PSM good, want.
I was wondering if LONE STAR LONGHORN photographs better than it is in life.

Friends of mine in Texas grow Patricia Snyder Memorial and like it quite a bit. I think it is certainly one to try from other comments and pictures I've seen of it. I hesitate to order anything south of zone 7a because of the rust issue, but I have on occasion and have lucked out most of the time. It's the "most of the time", not the " ALL" of the time, that affects my decisions. Still they have some nice ones, and if you like UF's, that Moma Sofia looks interesting to me. Lots of competition at the daylily shows in the south, so if it won an award that always perks up my interest......Maryl
