I've had this guy a couple years now.
I think the key to it ID is the lateral spines, they are unusually curved, the pictures are rough but I think they are clear enough to show it, it may be more clear in the imprints the leave in other leaves.
What's not visible is the very rough texture of the leaves, it's some of the roughest I've felt on an agave! I'm not that experienced with them tho...
It's not a fast grower, but not super slow.
It's rather slow to offset, but does manage atleast one or 2 a year, they are a slow to establish after splitting off.
