Connie, this would make a wonderful multi plant picture to define all the plants you have used on it.
It looks soooooo good. Congratulations Hurray! Hurray!

Thanks Marilyn! I do plan to do multi plant pictures. I think it would be a good way to keep track plant locations. I do have it sketched out on paper but now it is outdated!

I think it's dang cool!
(and yeah, the clamps are a bit of a distraction from the overall masterpiece, but Wow! I've been wishing for a roof-top garden on my garage, but I'd have to rebuild my garage. Now I see that I just have to build a table Thumbs up )

Right on Connie Green Grin!

This was easy to make. I spent a lot of time planning it. It is 8 feet long by 4 feet wide, plenty of room to play. It is easy to work on, right at waist level. It also removed a big chunk of garden that I will no longer have to weed and try to keep nice!

It's beautiful Connie! Your neighbors' view is just as nice as yours.
I think burlap around the clamps would work well.

It is Stinky Maple or Musk Maple, Premna microphylla.

Musk Maple (Premna microphylla)

I got it off a sale table at Wee Tree Farm inside Garlands. It took a beating the past winter leaving a lot of dead wood but the tree is still alive. It will be fun pruning it bonsai style but not until next year when I see what it looks like then.

What a great addition to the garden. I'm thinking a smaller version hanging from a tree limb......................

Sounds like an idea to try out. Succulents would work well because they don't need frequent watering. Maybe a plant that would drape over the edge then a taller focal plant in the middle.

A hanging miniature garden? Great idea Jean! Expanding spray foam could be sprayed around the sides and left to puff out. After painting these "Clouds" white it would be a garden in the clouds! Hilarious!

Love it........you could sit little Angels in it!!! Smiling

It is really colorful right now, mostly foliage. Note the Fritillaria meleagris I poked in here and there:

Wow, and double wow. That is beautiful Connie. What an amazing display of wonderful plants.
My Fritillaria meleagris is up but not blooming yet. I love your Globularia cordifolia, first time I've see this plant, very interesting. How long does it blooms?

When you have enough to share I would love to trade for some of your Iris danfordiae. That would be beautiful in one of my raised beds. The color is so bright and cheerful. Do you have Iris reticulata? I have some I can share.

Your 'Ruby Glow' is stunning right now. And what a great idea to use one of the evergreen azaleas for the wonderful pop of color.
