I don't know, maybe. I did some red with dark purple last year. I might have some of those seeds left. If not, maybe I'll do orange and purple.

I think I may try this one if I remember to get the seeds early enough.

I always do denim petunias for purple. What did you grow? Love the red and purple combo. Also did a beachcomber combo mix package. I'll see if there are any pictures.

Looks like frosty morn and some others. The lighter peach pink is from the beachcomber pack.

I did several impatiens this year and later found out about the problems, but I had good luck. A couple are even still in blossom in the greenhouse. But this year I decided to switch to petunias so I already have several varieties to try but I really would like to add this one. I don't keep my house very warm so they are very slow to get started here. Maybe I should just wait a bit longer to start them but I usually start no later than mid Feb.

I never heard of denim petunias. I'm assuming they are a purple/blue color?

That is a good new petunia color!
I'd like to combine it with a yellow and a white.
Not for this year,--- as I already ordered petunia seeds.

Julia, those red and purple petunias I posted were easy wave red and shock wave denim.

Don't you love the denim, such a great grape/purple. I was going to order my seeds but I think Harris may have a black Friday special, maybe free shipping. I'm going to wait and see.

I'm with Caroline, I think I'd want some yellow with those orange ones. Interesting.

Yellow, orange and purple, How beautiful would that be!!! in a combo. Come on spring, at least March so the seed planting will be well on its way in the greenhouse.

I start the begonias in January but the petunias on 1st of march. I don't start planting until Memorial Day here, too cold at night. Some time the Coleus get planted mid June. Just depends on the year.

I'll start begonias under lights in January, and probably some more echinaceas, too. My yard will be full of coneflowers next year.

And I start wintersowing in January, too.
