I bought this one from Kermit at Flowers By The Sea this Spring and have it in a 20 inch container on our sunny patio with Phygelius x 'Sensation'. Honey Rose grew, but no buds or flowers. I'm really hoping it comes back next year, but if not I'll get another one from Kermit. It's zone 7 and I'm zone 6a, so we'll see.

From the pic, it looks like a gorgeous Salvia! One that 'you gotta have'! Drooling Lovey dubby Hurray! Thumbs up

This one has proved to be a much better spring bloomer than a fall bloomer as far as newly planted stock is concerned. Why? It is from the southern part of the range of this species, and requires short days to initiate flowering. Once established the fall bloom can be very nice indeed - if the weather cooperates. It is such a pretty shrub out of flower I for one don't mind waiting for the late flowering.

Thanks Kermit! I tip my hat to you.

I hope it survives the Winter, if not, I'll just get another one from you. Thumbs up
