Has anyone ordered anything great? I just ordered 4 seed packs from Harris, got the free shipping.

I wanted to do a lot of online shopping this weekend, including Christmas shopping, but I guess I'm not in the mood. The only other thing I've ordered was a pair of jeans for myself and something for my son from llbean. (they have 10% off this weekend, plus a $10 gift card for future purchase, and always-free shipping.)

I have started putting in my shopping carts but I haven't ordered yet. And now I decided to do the Piggy Seed Swap and a lot of things I had in my baskets were available for me there so I'm gonna save some money! Woo Hoo!!!

I am trying to pare down this year too. I went way overboard last year. I had so many seedlings that never made it past the cell packs. I still have some ice plants living in them!

I have some things in my cart at Harris. They have some veggie seeds, like 'Carmen' pepper, that I need at great prices plus the free shipping. I'm also tempted by some flowers like the Zinnia 'Zowie Yellow Flame' and the new Petunia 'African Sunset' but I'm not sure if I can justify the cost on those at the moment, especially since I can't save seed from them that will come true.

From AM Leonard, I ordered some clearance 1801 deep inserts. The website claimed that they only had one sleeve left but now, after I ordered, it still says the same so we will see if I get them or not.

I was tempted to mail-order Yet More Seeds, but I'm a Hog Wild Piggy. I thought I was being very restrained this year, and only asking for a FEW things from the swap ...

... 53 packets later, I realized that "seed restraint" is not my strong suit.

I just received a batch of seeds from a Canadian swap.
In a serious winter blizzard, it was nice to be reminded of growing from seeds.

I'm a newbie to the swap and I am already up to 75!!! And there are still a few more I want. I was supposed to cut back this year. Just so many interesting things and it's so much fun!

I was determined to stay under 50, but I failed miserably....I'm not even going to talk actual numbers...too embarrassing.
