Hello, my friends. Nope, Melissa, I just wanted to help. maybe it won't be long before we see Wilfred. I know we are all waiting. Aren't we members of the Wilfred Desert Rose Fanclub? That's as close as I get to a cult ....lol How do you all like it, I sure do.

Cubits has become awkward. Metro-Dave wants a plant files, Papa Dave tossed the idea back in his lap to do himself, "Make your own cubit!" and a Clematis lady popped in saying she was welcoming new varieties of Clematis.

Metro-dave does endangered plants of Hawaii. He hikes, he's gentle. I cannot imagine that he'll make a cubit. But I might be surprised.

Awkward! We're accustomed to a well established institution that takes our contributions. All of a sudden we are not a part of a team any more. The coach, playing field, locker room, and team members are scattered or just gone. We're all supposed to change into being Chiefs, from being Indians.

There's a lot of excitement and hype right now, but it's all people saying, "Hi! You got here!!" Many posts don't have any more to them besides socializing, between old friends.

Oh, my. I don't know how Wilfred will take this place. I'm going to go see how the Hibiscus people are doing here.

Cubits is going public in just a few days. We might have some Big Sharks show up, and other riffraff that we're not accustomed to. Every forum I've been on has had problems with spammers, creeps, trolls and plain nasty people. Dave's Gardens has been an amazing oasis in that. 99.9% courteous posting. Might be some bumpy times ahead, when The Public shows up. I know one guy who is so miserable that he goes into discussions just to break them up, and he's quite good at it. After he demonstrated this non-admirable feat, I severed any contact with the goon. He's still out there, a part of The Public.

Growing Pains!!!

Melissa, rather fearful.

Doris, good to see you here, I actually have no complaints about cubits, it's just my diminished learning capacity, eventually I'll catch on to all this. I especially like the smileys. Melissa, when I was a lot younger I used to go on religious forums, if it was Catholic I'd be a Baptist, or maybe Jewish, just to get into a biblical argument. Now in my old age I know it was wrong, but it was fun at the time. Hmm, I think we need a devil down there after admitting my sorrid past. But this guy is close. Grumbling

LOL, some people went nuts and made lots of forums, check out Calling All Cooks. Those might fill up quickly and be a bit to edit every day all day.

I have one, and am almost tired of it already!

Jim, the Too soon oldt, and too soon schmart? lol.

Ya know, when I lived in Lancaster Pa, that just may have been the way they printed it on the tourists stuff? Another one I liked was "A whistling girl and cackling hen; both come to a very bad end. I could never figure the why of that one, maybe they executed girls who whistled huh?

I am glad someone knew how to invite Wilfred. I had just joined Dave's then joined here as well, but was unsure of the procedure/etiquette of inviting people here. Then my computer crashed and I am starting back up again.

Wilfred sent me some seeds to start, very little luck yet, but trying.

My single adenium seedling was declared dead yesterday. I am a bit sad about that, but will eventually find the trick to germinating/nurturing adenium.

I better hurry and join the interesting forums now, before the "riff-raff" shows up.

BTW. I am GardenQuilts in the other place.

Are Adenium difficult to grow, or take specialized care. I have been looking at the pictures, they are beautiful.
