Exterior polyurethene would work Maryln. You could get satin finish or high gloss - whichever you prefer! You might want to put at least 3 coats on it, sanding lightly in between.

I actually saw the sign somewhere online and e-mailed the link to my friend and asked if she could make me one. (If she had said no, I was going to e-mail you next, Becky! ) The more conventional "No Soliciting" sign I have now does NOT work. I'm hoping this one will work better.
