Oh no, Dave. Not the fig. I'm surprised to hear that but it was more like a zone 6 winter than a zone 7 one. Will you replace it with a different variety?

Yes, we will move on. Some things I won't bother to replant and others I will.

No Tee I am not going to replace the fig tree. I planted a variety of Coneflowers where it was. It was the last freeze that got it after a warm spell brought out its bud.

sorry about the fig tree Dave we lost 4 three year old fig trees as well. I feel your pain.
