This plant just said fern on it when I bought it. It is very dainty and lacy, and although it has set up lots of new fronds, they doesn't seem to get larger in size so I'm assuming it is a small variety.

At first it reminded me of one I had years ago labeled Fluffy Ruffles Fern; Nephrolepis: http://garden.org/plants/brows... but I'm not so sure, the close up photo also reminds me of Maidenhair Fern: http://garden.org/plants/brows...

Lin and Arlene, Thanks for looking! I had looked at Adiantum, because that was my first guess as there are some that look a lot like it but I didn't find one that the leaves on the stem were shaped the same. Perhaps it is an Adiantum but if that is what it is I would like to find the variety.

Adiantum species have very stiff, usually dark brown to black rachis (the central stem of a frond). Yours doesn't look stiff at all (?).

No Rick, it's not stiff at all.
