One of the IBs, Love's Moment, was hybridized by Philip Remare.

This might be House Arrest, but I'll have to wait until his catalog comes and check the seedling number to be sure.

Oh -- lucky you, Brad. Hope you have a great time and take LOTS of pictures for us to drool over. I'll never get to a convention that far away -- I don't *do* airplanes, and it's a heckuva drive. Sad

I agree with Brad. This next year should be a great time to visit during the bloom season.
The TBIS Spring meeting in 2014 will be in Salem, OR May 22-23. Bus tour of Schreiner's, Keppel's, Mid-America, Vaughn gardens on 5/23 with auction of a variety of cultivars the evening of 5/23. Sat-Sun 5/24-25 is AIS Region 13 spring convention in Portland with tour of Aitken's and Chad Harris gardens on Sunday 5/24. Snowpeak is just south of Salem in Lebanon. I have visited Dee several times when I've been to the Salem area in past years during their peak bloom and plan to make the trek again this next spring. Also, Schreiner's has a big Memorial Day BBQ with live music and wine tasting from a local winery. A full 4-5 days of iris viewing and wishing gets the summer off to a great start.

We went to the TBIS meeting in Salem in 2009 and it was a blast -- tours of Mid-America, Cooley's and Schreiner's, plus we did our own side trip (like 8 miles away from our hotel) the previous day to Keith Keppel's -- a fabulous, fabulous few days, plus we got to meet the hybridizers too. And TONS of pictures! And with the regional meeting right after -- Wow! That will be a spectacular iris viewing trip!

Dennis Wow you guys will a have a great time there that is a lot of gardens to see,I always wish I had more time when I am there so much to see at all those gardens so close together there really is nothing like it seeing 200 acres of fields in bloom all at once is special.

There is another one to add to the list and maybe visit Sister's Iris they are close to Kieth not sure if they are open to the public but if your going to Kieth's, I would ask to visit they sent me some awesome plants last fall and I look forward to visiting there for the 2015 convention.

I am headed to California at the end of April there bloom season is a month a head of ours normally and I want to see some of the growers out there Napa, Supersition, and especially Joe Ghio his gardens are my favorite and he is 15 minutes from the Ocean and by April I will be ready for warm air and Ocean Green Grin! all are a few hours away from each other and it is another beautiful area to visit in the spring time.
