That hose wreath with the tools tucked in would make a great house warming gift for any gadener.

Wonderful ideas Becky, really wonderful! I have an old hose in the garage as well as old hand tools, a couple of small pots and raffia ... I think I need to make a year-round wreath to hang on a gate! Thanks so much for this great idea! Thumbs up

I tip my hat to you.

Thanks everyone!

I love hose wreaths so much and have attached tiny clay bots to them with wire and E-6000 glue. That E-6000 holds everything but rubber etc is soft so I secured the rim of the little pots to the hose just in case.

I will never make anything else again without taking a photo of it. Whistling

When I pull the wisteria up or down out of trees, I make a wreath from the vines.to decorate. I have one that is probably 10 years old...This time of year it's a Christmas wreath...the rest of the year I decorate it with whatever. I gave a couple to a friend recently so her great niece and nephew could decorate them for Christmas...was a fun project for them. I'll try and remember to snap a pic of mine tomorrow to post.

Thanks friends!

Yes David, I have made dozens of hose wreaths and the last wreath with the vintage Christmas wreaths is mine.

Hose wreaths are the best housewarming gift!

Be sure to see the other post reply where I gave the corrected a credit to Chris (Goldfinch4) for her amazing sempervivum wreath.
I had been working on the article for some time and forgot to give her the correct credit. *Blush*

Forgive me Chris!!

Here is my wreath for this Christmas...the whole and also some detail shots. Normally you can see the yaupon better and I add chinaberry berries, but the critters have been busy. That's OK...they need the chow more then I need berries on my wreath Smiling

I think I'll be putting some winter "food" wreaths out on the back fence for the birds & critters to enjoy.

Thanks for the compliments Smiling When the greens start to "shed" I'll remove them and find something else to decorate it with.
