Rick, does your Iris attica usually get much bigger than that? Everything is looking great!

@dirtdorphins, I'd suggest your mystery iris is likely Iris setosa, and likely what's sold as var. arctica.

I am really surprise your early irises aren't on the bloom, since you have other things that bloomed before mine!

Iris attica, for me, bloomed taller the first time (2011), but has been shorter in subsequent years. The leaves get to be about 5-6 inches tall, later into the summer.

Ozark Iris ships year round. Not a huge offering, but at least it is something, plus they make an excellent iris fertilizer.
