well that is a bust I am sure, it is out of city limits and the system is very old. It has had repairs done and been kept up as far as that goes, but the chance of anything being recorded is probably nill. I know we tried to find out when the well was dug and it was previous to when the state started keeping records for that and so we have no idea. Now when a well is dug it is supposed to be registered.

Maybe not, remember the guys who install and work on the septic tanks need to know where the tanks and lines are, these were not mandated government records. These were records the company kept for their on purposes.

Good point, Seedfork. The only company in our area that maintains and installs well water systems has a LOT of information on our system (which is an absolute nightmare of wires and pipes and timers and gates in weird places). Phone calls are cheap.
