If your storm is coming from here don't hold your breath, it was a real dud. Skys are blue and sunny here now after about a tablespoon of rain and a bucket full of humidity.

That doesn't surprise me, why should it rain at all when they had it forecast that we were going to get plastered with rain???

If we do get rain, I think it will be very late tonight, but, I'm not holding my breath.

WOW, that is one massive collector.

I worked in the garden today from 10am until 5pm. No rain but cloudy the majority of the day. When the sun did come out from behind the cloud, I just moved underneath a tree. When I was about to collapse, a wonderful breeze would show up.

I had a wonderful surprise this morning and I was dancing around the front landscape just like I had won the lottery. I will post a photo. There are 9 total.

Yes, those are all Purslane. That area is right smack in the middle of the front landscape. I had it totally bare waiting for me to plant the 'Blue" bulbs. Well that did not happen and I had to fill it and Purslane was the easiest because it was so hot. I think a total of 12 plants.

Many of the hardy hibiscus are patented but they are setting seed. There will be enough seeds for half the SW. The Moy Grande does not seem to be setting any seed heads.

The seed head I posted with the flowers is a new Rain Lily I think it is the white with the pink. I have never had a rain lily set a seed head.
