I like the contrast of the colors of the two daylilies, and the lilies in the background seem to echo the daylilies. And the clematis really adds to the total scene. Lovely photo of a lovely setting! Thumbs up

Thank you. Much of that area was accidental and not planned.

But we don't take pictures of those! Hilarious!

Actually, I did take a photo to put it in my eternal, unending "to do" list. Either the anemone or the Clara Curtis hardy mum has to be relocated. They are not a match made in heaven.

Mmmm. Gotta agree. Each needs more contrast in either shape or color or both. At least, that's what I'd want to do. But they're both cute little rascals.

I'll probably move the anemone. Clara Curtis has a large fall presence in that spot.

Oh, that does look nice! Heh, you can just move that anemone right over here. Smiling Hey, I got chairs just like that one in the picture!

I'm sure I read that the anemone's roots spread wide and far so I have to hope it won't pop up again. If it does I'll have to move all new sprouts.

The chairs are in the path to keep the deer out and it works until they find a new way to get in...and they do.
