I don't know if it was a little fertilizer I sprayed on it or it was ready to pop up. Lorine you were absolutely right. I got my first one and noticed it while I was cleaning the pond. I nearly stepped on it. No clue what color it is but I am sure looking forward to seeing it open up.

Last weekend I went to visit Hollis Gardens. It was so nice to see some color other than brown and tan. Here are some beautiful purple petunias.
