Aha! I blew right past it the first time. You're right Tom -- that's a beauty! And unusual too. I loved Dare Me and...............(forgot -- have to go back and look again)

I see that Mid America has many of their new intro's now on their web page. They aren't taking orders yet, as I think they still have more to add, but you can see several of them now.

I just checked out Mid- America again, there's many more posted, one called MULTNOMAH FALLS is a really interesting TB, powder blue with pink beards! Lots of nice SDB's too. Black has 49 new intros, and Tom Johnson has 27 so far. Not sure if they are finished yet. I can see already I'm going to need to sell my soal to the devil so I can buy more irises. . . .

Tom someone needs to hide your check book from you but I agree they have some beautiful new intro's this year. I remember looking at a lot of them in there garden hoping quite a few of these got intro'd there pictures on the website are great but they are even better up close it will be hard to decide which ones to get this year just too many good ones to choose from.
No, My problem is I need more money so I can buy more irises, I have lots of space.
Problem????? What problem Mary Ann, I know I can quit any time I want to, I just don't want to
Brad, I bet you wish you had stayed in Maui longer, Ha?

Tom I did my best to convince the pilot he made a mistake and that we were supposed to just be Island hopping and that somehow I dozed off during the flight and when I woke up and looked out the window, well that's when I realized they made a big mistake because there is no snow in Hawaii and its all there fault but hey no problem I told them all would be forgiven if they would just turn the plane around and drop me back off in Maui. But as you can guess it didn't work out for me and I could not reason with them now I'm stuck in the frozen Tundra again
Mary Ann Thanks !! But I have to tell you for once home was not a pretty sight going from 85 to -5 in a day's time was not a pleasant experience. I was trying to get caught up with some work today and on the way home it was snowing heavy and I watched cars sliding all over the road and I was thinking to myself a few days ago around this time the only thing I was worried about was trying to find a spot on the beach to watch the sun go down wow what difference a few days make, our winter weather is horrible this year and spring can't come soon enough for us, I think our 7 day high for the weather forecast is 28 and more snow there can only be a few more weeks of it left right .
Brad, those are some really great pictures. It must have been wonderful, I'm sure. The shock of returning to this cold climate and the reality of returning to work must be quite a downer. Soon your new seedlings will begin to sprout, and things will start looking better, I'm sure. My horses still have not begun to drop their winter coat. They always begin in January, even years ago during very cold winters. That has me thinking it's going to be a late spring here this year. We'll see. We got about 4 inches of new snow yesterday. Supposed to be -14 on Tuesday, and then a warming trend, up to 25! Oh well, Thanks for sharing a bit of your trip.

Tom Thanks lets hope March is kind to us this year spring was really late last year I remember we had a snow storm in early May our weather is the same as yours -5 tomm with the -25 wind chills I won't be getting anything done outside for a couple days so I guess it's a good time to sit by the fireplace and go over more pictures there is still a lot of seedlings from the Oregon trip to share.
