I like anything goes! I hadn't seen that one before. Also love the standards on Sculptured Wild. I have flights of fancy, but it hasn't bloomed in 2 years. I guess it needs to be moved. Thanks for sharing!

This one looks like Jellicle Cat, but wasn't ID'd when it was given to me.

Debra...love your pictures. Thanks for sharing. Your pretty blue plicata is colored like Jellicle Cat but isn't it as the form is completely different. Jellicle Cat is a SDB with round flaring falls.

Debra, I would agree with whomever said that your iris is "Cinnamon Girl". I looked at acouple of different dtabases and it is spot on. This is one of the plants I have been looking at to add to my collection. Greg

I was going to say that Jellico Cat is a SDB, not a tall bearded iris.

The fungus which causes leaf spot splashes up from the soil. I wish there was something which kills it there.

I'm thinking that there are benefits to living in one of the driest states. I've grown iris for many years and only remember 2-3 plants during all that time with bad leaf spot. I dug those and discarded them. I would hate to have ugly plants when the bloom season is over. I also grow 70+ HT Roses and have very few disease problems with them. I don't spray the roses or iris. Hurray! Thumbs up Hurray!
