Yeah, it can be tough releasing them knowing there's not much out there for them, if anything. My weeds (Spanish Needles) here are still doing really well so that's a good thing, I suppose. I just feel bad about the Queen because the odds of her meeting a mate are very low. There are still Monarchs flying here and at the museum (in the gardens and the flight cage) so I feel better about their chances to continue the population. I also hope the Zebra Longwings come back this year. We had one year so cold that it took them another year just to recover and come back this far north. But this was a really good year for them so I'm holding out hope.
