Sunbursts are cool too! We love the Sun a lot here in Florida, but all that talk of being an "icicle" aimed me to snowflakes!

I always think of silver and mirrors like ice, yet can well imagine them in wood in golden orange shades for the Sun!

It would be neat to use something like old CDs - any kind of disc - for the center; spray it golden yellow than graduate the shades of spoons from the golden yellow to orange. Maybe a couple or 3 rows of spoons.

OR ... turn the bowls of the spoons to the inside and form the middle with them, it would look like petals of a flower. Then work outward from there with the handles pointing away from the center. Now there's another idea for the wooden spoons, they could form their own flower-y center.

Going to see what it looks like with silver spoons.

Imagine painted wooden spoons, light in the middle to darker along the edges, or the opposite of that would work as well. Or with several rows of spoons, you could do a rainbow of colors.

Sharon, your creativity is such fun!!! I have to tell you that even one of your painted wooden spoons would be a delight BUT I love these metal ones so much! Such whimsy!!!!!

I got so inspired yesterday that I whipped the paints out again and added to yesterdays Crab Eyes. Now,......shes definitely a Lady!

Every time I glance at my screen and see that David has posted somewhere, I know I'm going to smile, and sometimes I just laugh out loud. He has such a way of spicing things up. Way to go, David!!!

While I would love to have your clearly labor intensive and beautiful spoons (and already had thoughts how I would showcase them in pictures for you in the gardens here,)................."Lets just keep this thing going!"

I wish I lived near you because I would beg you to hire me as a artist in residence adn sit under a red umbrella and paint yopur customers clay pots. I did this once and we had a fabulous time!
