Thank you...this is the first time I've ever encountered this plant and I was stunned. I've seen several of the dwarf size cryptomerias around our new town here, but this is the largest I've found so far. I'm sure that the people who live in the house where it is are saying..."There's that car in front of our house again..."...lol..
I hated to go intrude upon them to ask to get a close-up of the foliage, but am trying to remember where I saw the dwarf cryptos around town to do so....
I could be wrong...
and.....

Plant people, lol. I remember admiring them somewhere in the Bay area many years ago but never saw them in winter foliage. I've been surfing and I might be able to give a dwarf a home where it can survive here.

I never saw them in the Bay Area, I'm surprised. I'm seeing things here that I either haven't seen before, or haven't seen in a long time, like Monkey Puzzle trees. I saw a lot of them in Washington years ago and I'm seeing a lot here again.....I'm used to the things grown down in SoCal after spending the last 30-some years down there and I'm seeing things here with new eyes.
