Thread OP

I love the stripes and the color combination. They are very showy flowers. One of the plants that will make me get out of the house into the garden to have a look at it all the time. I been unsuccessful in growing perennial Dahlias. They produce lots of beautiful flowers and buds But then, the buds fail to open. Somehow they do not like my garden for whatever reason. So far I could only grow two annual Dahlias with very small flowers in a pot. I see annual dahlia seeds advertised. Perhaps I will have better luck growing them from seeds. Have you ever tried growing them from seeds?
