Hi,
I see some erroneous entries in this database too and I wonder if they could please be corrected? In this case, I guess it's not quite a "Parent Database" but it appears to be sort of like one:
Mullein (Verbascum)

Firstly, there are no blue verbascums (though there are mauve and purple ones) - that part I could correct myself, but more importantly, verbascums are not all biennial, as the database claims under "Life Cycle". There are many perennial species, and many species that act as biennials in warmer zones, but are reliably perennial in colder zones (who knows why), and some are also subshrubs, which is not specifically included among the choices. I think this is again a case where only one choice could be selected, so I imagine whoever entered it selected the choice that fit their experience. Any other single option of those available is not correct either... and choosing "Other" is ambiguous and not helpful.
I don't know what the options are on this site, but it seems like it might be best in this particular general data table if the selection for "Life Cycle" was left blank... ?
What do you think?
Thanks again,
Lori

You can correct this one yourself. It's not a parent plant, so the information is not "exported" to other entries.

Edited to add that you're right: It would be best to leave the life cycle line blank.

I also have to wonder why someone checked both "showy" and "inconspicuous" for the blooms. They can't be both.

I deleted Biennial, blue, and inconspicuous. Anything else? Smiling

Thank you, Zuzu, I think that's done it.
