In doing some research I am also finding this Hoya listed as being a cross of H. susuella and H. ciliata. I think we will have to ask Carol - @AlohaHoya for her advice.

Carol tells me this is H. susuella x ciliata 'Black Star' and so I will propose that name to be reflected in the database.

I wonder if there are two "Black Stars" out there ??? Ted Green shows it to be a cross between H. ciliata x Ruthie, but not the one shown on the internet....
no wonder there is confusion.
I'll try to email Carol tonight to ask her about that... Confused
