I keep checking, and their website has not been updated for 2014 yet. But I received my catalog from them over the weekend, and they do have some beautiful introductions as well as a great general listing. But they list no email address, so I had to call and leave a message and then snail mail my order to them.

One in the general listing that immediately caught my eye and I ordered is MY CUP OVERFLOWS, the diploid that was mentioned I believe in the Larry Grace 2014 Introductions thread. Larry is selling his tet conversion of MY CUP OVERFLOWS for $2,000 for a SF - very limited. And then someone else mentioned that The Lily Farm has the diploid version listed at $300, so my antennae immediately went up. Anyhow, Bell's lists it for $50, so I jumped at it. I guess it is a really huge flower from what people have been saying.

They send beautiful plants, usually double fans, and here are pictures of a couple of orders I've received in the past.

I'll keep checking and post when their website is updated, or maybe someone else might see it first and post here.

I may give him a call tomorrow. Thanks, Betty. Tim will be the speaker at our NW Ga. Daylily Society meeting in March. He will bring daylilies to auction, and lots of members have the opportunity to go home with some new or recent intros for very good prices. Tim told David that he will cut off an auction when it starts going too high. He likes to see daylilies go for lower prices.

I'm so glad you got MY CUP OVERFLOWS, Doris, and I just hope I did too. I requested my order be shipped ASAP, so I guess I should find out in the next couple of weeks or so.

Did you order one also, Mike?

Hope you get it, Betty. Tim said he had 14 degree low one night first of last week. Last winter he did not have any freezing temperatures. The foliage probably looks like mush right now.

With it being an Evergreen it probably does look like mush. I know those 3 days of Artic weather we had ( 25°, 18°, and 20°) were horrible and with the wind chill factor it was even colder. The Evergreens were mush and look horrible but 99% of the Semi-evergreens look like it never froze. Of course the dormants or should I say semi-dormants here (since I only have a small number that actually go completely dormant) looked good also.

I finally decided to call and confirm my order, and I'm glad I did. Tim said he didn't think they'd received my mailed-in order yet (I mailed it last Saturday!), but he said I did the right thing in letting them know via a telephone message last Saturday which plants I wanted to order and they were saving them for me. So I went ahead and gave him my credit card # over the phone, and my order will ship within the next week or so. He thinks he is now sold out of MY CUP OVERLFLOWS but they have one saved for me, plus they only had two TEXAS FEATHERED FANCY's and I'm getting one of them and they are now also sold out.

Here's what I ordered:

LOVE GOD'S WAY (new 2014 intro)
CHRISTMAS IN OZ
MY CUP OVERFLOWS
SERENADE OF SPRING (a small almost-mini one)
SISTER OF PRAISE
TEXAS FEATHERED FANCY

I received my order from Bell's on Wednesday and got them planted yesterday -- in our 50 mph winds and dust storm! But they're all in pots or in the ground now, thank heavens. It was a wonderful order, two triple fans and four double fans, and my bonus was 3 fans (DF and SF, which I planted in two pots!) of his gorgeous LINDA BELL! And even though I guess they had a freeze or two, the plants were in great shape although maybe a little shorter than before -- but no problem here! It's supposed to be 80 today with more high winds and dust, but hopefully they're all happy little old plants. Here's a picture of my order:

Tim does not have a greenhouse. I was surprised that Betty's daylilies looked so good. I know Tim has had at least a couple of mornings in the mid teens. That is probably the reason that the foliage was cut back as far as it was.

He sent a very nice double fan, which I planted in a 2-gal. pot. And it seems very happy now that our two days of high wind and dust have died down. I hosed it off again yesterday to get the dust/dirt off and give the leaves a little moisture -- our humidity has gotten down to 10-15% now -- extreme drought here we come!

I just wanted to share, I sent an order for 5 plants and some substitution options. All but 1 were sold out. That's not to say something bad, rather the opposite as I received a very kind note in the mail explaining the situation and apologizing. Definitely going to keep Bell's on my list of vendors!
