I've had a bearded iris bloom already. This is 'Lightning Streak'. Do I win the prize for first TB iris of the year? ;-)

O.K. I added it.

Here is another early bird. This is one that came with the house. I think it might be 'Indian Chief'.

Looks like Indian Chief is a pretty close match, but there are several of the old "reds" that are quite similar....Arlyn

Check out "Ola Kala", and maybe "California Gold", either in the database, or on the AIS wiki....Your NOID looks "familiar", but , There are lots of those yellows!...Arlyn

Your "NoID" seems to have colored "spots" on the falls (like a broken color iris) that are random. This would exclude Ola Kala as a possibility. Its form also makes me think a later time period.

'Lightning Streak' is wonderful! Exciting to see Iris blooms this early. Will be awhile before any here in zone 5, so it's nice to be able to enjoy yours.
