AV's are just so pretty! I drool every time I look at the database photo's; sometimes I think that I "must" start growing them again ... but then I come to my senses and realize that I just don't have the space or time anymore. I can still get my fix though by oohing and aahing over photo's in the database.

These are my two Home Depot NOIDs.

This one is more of a "your run of the mill" purple, but it photographs blue.



This one photographed pretty poorly... it's really a dark, dark purple.

Nobody know how hopeless I am but you Planto.

To let Lin @plantladylin and Linnea @Linneaj in on the joke between Planto and myself is that it is hard for me to kill a weed. I actually have a houseplant Dandelion. Also I some AV's that I threw away a few days ago (some with mealy bugs) and two days later dug them back out of the trash, sprayed and replanted them. I garden only inside because my allergies are horrible! I am hopeless and Planto knows it!!!

I wouldn't say you're hopeless! You're just one of those people they say "wouldn't kill a fly" (not a bad thing!)

Leda ... I used to be you! But I'm getting old and I don't have the patience with plants that I once had.

How old is old, @plantladylin ? I am 61. I once took a University Extension course on "Ruthless Gardening" but it didn't help.

Leda, I am pushing 67 and wishing I still had the energy I did at 47 or even 57.
