I tried to add a plant to the database but it says not valid
what i put down was
primary name-Tillandsia
accepted botanical name---Bulbosa x Streptophylla Hybrid
cultivar-Showtime
what am i doing wrong?

Just enter the genus, Tillandsia, as the accepted botanical name. Enter Showtime as the cultivar name.

Don't bother entering the bulbosa x streptophylla information. We don't list the parents of hybrids in the botanical name. If you want to add this information, you can do it in a plant comment.

Primary common name: Airplant
Accepted botanical name
(Genus species): Tillandsia
Cultivar: Showtime

Tilllandsia bulbosum X Tillandsia streptophylla would be placed in the Parentage box in a data update.
