OMG Betty!! Thumbs up Angel nodding Hurray! Group hug

A clear case of seeing something all along without really seeing it ... here's a screen capture showing the Closed Auction box. Others may need to click on the photo to see it, at the far right (it looks just like the regular one on the left, but shows up when you log in).

Now I have to go play with it - was wanting so much to track down a seller for a question, who's not currently selling (hoping I am in time to catch their old listing - if not, now I know how).

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks Debra I don't know how you managed to post the auction. I didn't just want to post the photo on it's own since it is not mine.

Tina at least you got a lesson on how to view closed auctions, glad you are so happy!

I so agree Glen it looks like a stunner so happy I happened to see and get BG.

I believe that as long as you give credit to the source and you are not using it for monetary gain it is ok. I often save pics of LA wins on my pc until the flower bloom in my garden. After that I delete it from my pc. "I need the room to save mine !" Rolling on the floor laughing If it's a sdlg pic from where a seed cross come from I keep that for my records. I often request info about the sdlg from the seller. I sometimes request a pic of the sdlg if it's not posted.

Mike I do the same thing with pictures from the auction I just don't post them anywhere else. I like being able to compare the blooms with mine to make sure mine is the correct cultivar.

Thanks for the nice comments! I don't seem to have the time I once had to participate with all the nice folks here at ATP, I do miss posting.

It is a tool that is part of the Windows 7 operating system like the calculator function and such. All I have to do is be on the page where I want to capture the image or data, go to the start menu where I have the tool pinned, click on it and wait for the snipping tool menu box to appear on my page. Hold down the left mouse button, draw a box around what I want, release the button, then save the resulting JPG image with whatever name I want to call it to whatever file I want.

Hilarious! Here I had a tool that I didn't know was there and have never used it. When I got Windows 7 I never did the tutorial. Whistling

I bet we all must dedicate the lion's share of our computer's space to photos Rolling on the floor laughing I even back mine up on a thumb drive - it makes me shudder to think of losing any daylily data if my 'puter would crash...

Lyle, it is great to see the pics ... I know what you mean about the ebb and flow of posting ... soon as it gets a bit warmer, I will be finding it hard to come in from the garden nodding

I'll second that on major PC space for photos along with
several backup options. But, what's daylilies without the
photos. We desperately need to look at daylilies during
the winter too. The summer season alone is simply
not enough input from these lovely blossoms. Blinking

These flowers are still stunning even though the thread is 6 years old. I'd love to know what everyone's favorite white edges are now that it's 2020 Lovey dubby

Right off the top of my head is Mary's Baby. A wonderful daylily for just about anyone.
If it can survive my 100 degree heat and still retain most of its color and vigor how can I fault it? I can't:

Thanks for reviving this thread, Daniel! I noticed that I have two pictures on this thread and no longer have the daylilies... gave away Francis of Assisi years ago because it blooms down in the foliage. And Lone Wolf will be going to a new home tomorrow for the same reason. Really hate it too because my grandpa had a sign above his river camp that said 'Lone Wolf' I may have to rethink giving that one away Shrug!

Even though Outrageous isn't registered as having white edges, on a really hot day it shows some white edges and the blooms still look fairly decent.

Cooler by the Lake was added two years ago to my garden. It is really nice! Sturdy scapes, nice blooms and the color holds up well throughout the day.
Thumb of 2020-07-26/blue23rose/82ecec

Splendor of the King is simply gorgeous in the morning and really is as bright as the first picture. However, on a really hot day, it looks like the second picture in the evening. Still a keeper though!
Thumb of 2020-07-26/blue23rose/bfe009

Night Embers is registered as having white edges, although they look more yellow to me. Even so, the name is perfect because it really looks like it is glowing in the dark.

Absolutely beautiful! Hurray!

When I noticed this thread had been revived I immediately thought of PURPLE GOLIATH. I'll have to look through my photos to get more, but I wanted to post this one right away because I remember being so impressed when I saw that deep dark coloring with such a distinctive white edging...
