Excellent! They are all very nice. Do you grow them out in containers? (I don't have much luck growing in containers here. I am always looking for a little more garden space)

Connie, Most of the asiatics are in pots. The OT, trumpet and aurelian seedlings are in the ground.

A whole lot of varied floral characteristics in those, besides them being downright pretty.

Bravo!

Real eye catchers, all of them. I especially like these: Row 2, picture #3, Row 3, picture #1 and picture #3 and in Row 4, picture #4.

Agree with Neil--your work area is nice and neat. A lot better organized than mine!

Outstanding stuff Hank. I'm hoping for my first crosses to flower this summer but can see my yard looking similar in a decade or so! If only I can achieve results as exceptional as these.

Absolutely stunning!

Are you using Tinos, Dots and Dashs? (Rick has a thread here featuring some D'n'D seedlings that remind me somewhat of some of these.) Patricia's Pride? (aka Purple Reign.)

In regards to neat and tidy gardens, I can assure you they are not always that way.

In regards to organized, sure enough. Gotta be if you're going to hybridize this much as a hobby and get anywhere with it.

Moby, More to come. Now you have the yellows and the whites.

Joe, Just a suggestion, take lots of photos. That way you can always go back and see the details you may not have written down.

Della, I have a few hybrids with Tinos. They have no brushmarks and none of the hybrids are in these pix. Never had Dots and Dashes. I do have Purple Reign, and I do have some hybrids with it. I used it to hybridize some pink and some red lilies with dark brushmarks. My brushmark hybrids trace back to Morning Mist and Beaudacious.

Della and Rick,

The markings can either be solid as brushmarks, or loose which appear as lines or elongated spots.

Rick, I noticed (checking back to your original post) that you used Sweet Surrender for these seedlings. I have noticed that it does tend to give mostly seedlings with lines when crossed with various brushmarked lilies. I use Sweet Surrender in some of the crosses for the higher bud count, and the pastel white that first opens as a very pale yellow with greenish center tints. I do get some interesting seedlings from it.

4th pic in the 2nd row is from Sweet Surrender x bsmk sdlg.
