Tips for Growing Beautiful Roses

If you are growing roses, you want to grow beautiful roses! While growing conditions differ across the country, and all of these suggestions may not work in some areas, I think many of these tips may be helpful in growing the beautiful blooms that we all covet.

Whistling Not meant as a slam on Utah... *Blush* but your roses are every bit as beautiful as those I see in rose nirvana So california!

I did not take it as a slam on Utah. It seems that each of us, depending on where we live, have special challenges sometimes but other growing conditions favor some plants. Once on DG someone commented that they were surprised that Hosta would grow in Utah. They grow nicely but do look especially nice if we have a rainy spring.

Lots of good information for a beginner to roses and some beautiful photos, but then, you always have beautiful photos.
