All of your flowers are just so beautiful and you are so lucky to live in an area that is sub-tropical. My newly potted plumeria plants are showing signs of coming out of dormancy, with swelling stems and newly formed leaves. They are all in my small "over-flow" greenhouse. I leave the zippered "door" open during the day but close it up at night. We had 40 F this morning and are supposed to get down to 37 tomorrow morning. Then we are supposed to stay between the mid-40's and 60 F for lows the following ten days. I think I will go ahead and prepare my cuttings so that I can begin rooting them this week.

This is THE best time of year! The warm days are getting the Plumeria blooming all over. I have new ones opening up every day. Here is a selection from today:

I think I can bring out my plumies now..we are going into the high 80's now! Woohoo!

I love them all, Hetty. We here in NE Mississippi are still waiting for night temperatures to be 50 F and above. The next three mornings we will be around 40 F. I have all my plumeria potted but they are temporarily residing in a small GH, one that I can close up each evening. They are all plumping up and have terminal leaf formation, so I want/need to get them outside soon.

That Leticia bloom is almost 6 inches and has a fabulous scent! This is a must have!

Hello & Happy Spring everyone! No blooms here yet but lots of inflos and bloom buds. Looking forward to the parade of colors.

Back into the 30's for us Wednesday and Thursday mornings. I have to bring all my plumeria in, hopefully for the last time.
