Gerry - I don't know a darn thing about the 2014 Lambertson intros. I just know some of his that I've bought in the past four-five years have croaked in my freeze and thaw climate. Lambertson's earliest intros were hybridized when he lived in New York - before the move to Florida. They seem to be hardier. Also, I met and talked with Lambertson about six years ago when gave a presentation to our local club. He told me at that time that Ada May Musick was his most northern hardy cultivar and was being grown successfully by several gardeners in Canada. I think if you plant your new acquisitions in a sheltered place, next to your house for example, they will be fine.
