I am not a lily grower but do admire them. Does this look like a specific cultivar?

Possibly 'Magic Star' but this one looks a little les red than that. They are rapidly coming out with new "rose lilies" or doubles so it could be something newer. Where did you get these pictures from?

Ok I checked and it is not likely magic star. If you like this style of lily check out Faraway Flowers.

Took the pictures at a nursery today. I'm sure they had them for Valentines gifts. Unfortunately the tag just said Lily. It is a lovely flower and I would add it on the lily parent page but there are way to many there already.....Thanks

Do you think it might be Sweet Rosey?

There have been many new double Oriental lilies introduced in the past few years and many look very similar. For example, "pink double Oriental lily with dark pink papillae in the lower half of the tepals". Many fit that description. The one in your photos appears to sport a particularly wide white band around the tepals.

That said, here is a link to the double Orientals in the database. From the ones with photographs I think Roselily Fabiola or Roselily Belonica are possibilities. Here are the double Oriental lilies in our database:

Sweet Rosy doesn't have the wide white band...

Thanks everyone for the input. I'm still in a quandary as to if I should add it and where?

Since it wasn't labeled with a cultivar name and so many others are quite similar it should go in the general lilium area. We have few (if any) examples of double Oriental lilies there. I will import it.

I will add one or two but feel badly because I have several good photos and that is to many for the general entry.

I don't think we have such a thing as "too many" here. I might hesitate only if the photos were nearly alike (for example, taken from the same angle of the same bloom up close). I think people enjoy browsing the general entries. I do!

I have already entered your two bloom photos above.
