These were on Martha Stewart today... very cool! Made of recycled plastic bottles, and they allow you to make a vertical garden on a wall or a fence...

I saw something similar to those used on HGTV's The Outdoor Room. They had a watering system that started at the top row and dripped down to the next rows. I'm not sure how well that would work in Phoenix, though.

Very cool... really nice presentation.... I could give this a try just for the heck of it.
My new years resolution was to swear off plastic bottles LOL!

I saw that on the HGTV program too! I thought it was an interesting idea...I'm always looking for ways to use space more efficiently.

Yeah, I'm thinking they would be very cool on my fence in the shade garden. Not cheap, though (you know I'm on the try not to spend money budget)... I'm trying to figure out if/how I could make some myself. They use a wick in the back of the interior of the bag. They come in peacock blue, btw!

Yeah, I didn't love their website pics. I wondered why they went that route with their marketing, I'm guessing it was a shrug to Adam and Eve or something... or maybe they are nudists. I dunno. Anyway, I am sure I can make these things but I'd like to find the recycled fabric... have googled some info but haven't found the right fabric yet.

Barb, did you see that they are available in Peacock Blue? Big Grin
