The petunias are all gone but the mini zinnias are staying strong. New growth is coming too as I deadhead once they are dried up ....right back into the soil.
Those belong to my DH. All he did was throw the seed on the ground and water. I have the smaller ones that reseed but not too much.
That is one pretty flower!!

Some of my flowers that I picked today to rescue from the heat! Zinnias, Sunflower, Hearts & Flowers for greenery. The roses in front are minis Bee's Knees and Irresistible.

That fuzzy gray one is a species that needs a new home!! Any takers???? It does not stay in one place, does not mind no water and can be moved around even in the heat.

Thanks all! I'm glad you noticed the vase Alan. It was my mother's and she kept it on our kitchen table always with flowers or greenery in it. Maybe that's how I got my addiction ... looking at what was in the vase every day growing up!
