Nothing that warm here in NE Mississippi but I think we will get some high's in the 60-70's F next week. Then we get below freezing for the weekend. I am ready for spring so that I can get a lot of my tropical plants outside and get my hands dirty!

It was fantastic here! Did some hiking near Nacogdoches and then came back to Houston and did some yard work---cleaning up the beds to get ready for spring. I'm happy!

We woke to dreary fog this morning, but the sun finally appeared and it will be 81° by 3 or 4 (depending on which weatherman predicted). I opened the hoop house on the patio. Everything is alive, but some pots have suffered from lack of light rather than the cold, I think. The wind is picking up, so I'm going to close it up again. Otherwise, our house will be wearing a "cape."

Yeah an it got over 90 degrees in my greenhouse this afternoon. I had to open the windows and turn on the fans just to stay in and finish my projects!

Oh, that's not good news!
I couldn't open the big hoop along the fence. The wind had picked up and I decided it would be better to wait until tomorrow. I hope things aren't cooked in there. I did take a few pots out of the patio hoop. All the fruit trees are blooming. I figured they'd appreciate some fresh air. This has been a really crazy winter.
It was 81 this afternoon. I was tempted to hit the AC, but once I do, it seems that is the end of the cool weather!
