I have some Ronnie but the seeds I have are white .. I wasn't aware that I. alba seeds come in black too .. different strain?

It just occurred to me that perhaps you are talking about Calystegia atriplicifolia ssp. atriplicifolia aka Convolvulus nyctagineus?

Yes Anne it is a rare strain of I. alba.
