Herb week has got my mouth watering and craving fresh herbs. Great job to the authors of the fantastic articles this week.
A few years ago, I was doing a little talk on seeding starting herbs. As an added bonus, I had invited a friend that is the Chief Culinary Instructor from our local college. He spoke of the flavor affinities, how to use different herbs in cooking (as in add at 1st, mid-way or at the end and only fresh). He had everyone drooling and eager to grow some herbs. His recommendation to all the gardeners was this book.
Anyone growing herbs or any edibles should have a look at this book. It is NOT a cookbook. The entire book covers flavor affinities (what tastes good with what). I love this book and it is so special, I would recommend a hard cover.
