This inter generic hybrid is not in your database. Thompson and Morgan crossed Isoplexis canariensis with a Digitalis pupurea. XDigiplexis ? I tried that with trade name digiplexis, series Illumination and variety Flame. The one growing in HamiltonSquare looks a little worse for the dry winter and many hard freezes. I'd like to get on my list at ATP and upload a photo during it blooming.

Here you go HamiltonSquare. Foxglove (Digitalis Digiplexis® Illumination Flame)
Several sources note that Isoplexis is a probable synonym of Digitalis so this name may change to Digitalis 'Illumination Flame' in the near future.

It will be interesting to see where this falls. The article in the current issue of sunset about it was interesting. Ill be uploading a photo of the one i planted in the fall. It managed our dry and cold, for us, winter easily. We Had many nights into the teens! Glad it found a place in the database.
