My little pink cactus never opened any further than in my picture. It closed back up in the evening and was totally wilted by morning. I just ask for a cool drop in temps at night so my plants can recover. I'll even put up with the heat during the day, but the nights are just depressing to me!

Ok, these all are seriously making me rethink cactus... I know I say that every time new pics are posted, but I'm seriously thinking about making my front yard a beautiful cactus garden... do these cactus need any kind of shelter or can I treat them like ordinary boring cactus?? LOL Rolling on the floor laughing

Gee, I don't know anything about growing cactus. I grow cactus successfully. Well, let's just be honest and I'll admit they seem to grow with no help from me.

Succulents are a touch and go thing with me. Some grow some die.

As you can see there are some people posting gorgeous pic of their cactus ... these folks know what they're doing! Maybe someone will speak up!
